Secure SMS

Secure SMS is secure solution for sending and receiving encrypted SMS messages in complete confidentiality. It is a complementary solution to Secure Voice, so now it is possible to encrypt not only voice, but also SMS.

With Secure SMS software every text message is encrypted with AES 256 encryption algorithm. Messages are encrypted during transfer and retain encrypted on the mobile phone. Without knowing the correct password it won’t be possible to read it.

There are 2 types of passwords: application password and unique contact’s password.
Application password is entered on the first application start, and helps to enter the software and read SMS messages.

    

Unique contact’s password is used for SMS messages encryption.

    

The interface of the app is very similar to the interface of the native Nokia messaging, what is a big plus for users who are used to it.

     

Secure SMS allows to perform the following actions:
•    Create the encrypted SMS message (just select contact name from the application contacts or add one while new message creating)
•    Read the incoming encrypted SMS messages from the Inbox (the incoming message is encrypted in case the sender is found in the Application Contacts, or the correct unique contact’s password is entered if the sender is not in the Contacts)
•    Add contacts into the Application Contacts list (user can add them manually or from the Contacts menu); every contact should have various passwords to ensure the confidentiality of your message

    

•    Edit, Delete or Delete All unsent messages from the Drafts folder
•    Edit, Delete or Delete All successfully sent messages from the Sent folder
•    Delete or move to the Drafts messages which were unable to send or which are in the queue from the Outbox folder

Secure SMS solution is highly customizable for the customers needs, if needed a higher encryption grade can be implemented.
